Journal Title：Biology-basel

Biology (ISSN 2079-7737) is an international, peer-reviewed, quick-refereeing open access journal of Biological Science published by MDPI online. It publishes reviews, research papers and communications in all areas of biology and at the interface of related disciplines. Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible. There is no restriction on the length of the papers. The full experimental details must be provided so that the results can be reproduced. Electronic files regarding the full details of the experimental procedure, if unable to be published in a normal way, can be deposited as supplementary material.

Biology (ISSN 2079-7737) 是 MDPI 在线出版的国际性、同行评审、快速审阅的生物科学开放获取期刊。它在生物学的所有领域和相关学科的交界处发表评论、研究论文和交流。我们的目标是鼓励科学家尽可能详细地发表他们的实验和理论结果。论文的长度没有限制。必须提供完整的实验细节，以便重现结果。关于实验过程的全部细节的电子文件，如果不能以正常方式发表，可以作为补充材料存放。

Biology-basel创刊于2012年，由Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute (MDPI)出版商出版，收稿方向涵盖Immunology and Microbiology - General Immunology and Microbiology全领域，此刊是中等级别的SCI期刊，所以过审相对来讲不是特别难，但是该刊专业认可度不错，仍然是一本值得选择的SCI期刊 。平均审稿速度11 Weeks，影响因子指数4.200��该期刊近期被列入国际期刊预警名单，请广大学者慎重选择。

中科院分区也叫中科院JCR分区，基础版分为13个大类学科，然后按照各类期刊影响因子分别将每个类别分为四个区， 影响因子5%为1区，6%-20%为2区，21%-50%为3区，其余为4区。

JCR没有设置大类，只分为176个具体学科，按当期（1年）的影响因子进行分区；JCR是按照“平均主义”思想， 根据刊物IF的高至低平均划分4个区，每个区含有该领域总量25%的期刊。中科院的分区如同社会阶层的金字塔结构，1区只有5%的顶级期刊， 2~4区期刊数量也逐层增加,所以中科院的1区和2区杂志很少，杂志质量相对也高，基本都是本领域的顶级期刊。
