Bioorganic & Medicinal Chemistry provides an international forum for the publication of full original research papers and critical reviews on molecular interactions in key biological targets such as receptors, channels, enzymes, nucleotides, lipids and saccharides.

The aim of the journal is to promote a better understanding at the molecular level of life processes, and living organisms, as well as the interaction of these with chemical agents. A special feature will be that colour illustrations will be reproduced at no charge to the author, provided that the Editor agrees that colour is essential to the information content of the illustration in question.

Bioorganic & Medicinal Chemistry创刊于1993年，由PERGAMON-ELSEVIER SCIENCE LTD出版商出版，收稿方向涵盖医学 - 生化与分子生物学全领域，此刊是中等级别的SCI期刊，所以过审相对来讲不是特别难，但是该刊专业认可度不错，仍然是一本值得选择的SCI期刊 。平均审稿速度约1.9个月，影响因子指数3.500，该期刊近期没有被列入国际期刊预警名单，广大学者值得一试。
