Journal Title：Acta Metallurgica Sinica

Acta Metallurgica Sinica is a special journal focusing on metallurgy and metal materials, started in 1956, authorized by Chinese Association of Science and Technology, sponsored by the Chinese Academy of Metals, and undertaken by Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, published by Science Press. Professor Lee Xsun, a world-leading scientist in metal materials, acted as the first editor-in-chief of the journal. The current editor-in-chief is Professor Ye Hengqiang, a member of Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Acta Metallurgica Sinica mainly publishes original research papers and also invited review papers in the field of metallurgy, materials science and engineering. It is a core journal in China with a long history and high academic impact.

Since the establishment of the journal, Acta Metallurgica Sinica has firmly followed the correct publication guidance, implemented thoroughly all the policies and rules from the party and the government, served to the economy and the modernization of science and technology, and contributed significantly to the advancement of metallurgy and materials industry in China.

冶金学报是冶金与金属材料专业刊物，创刊于1956年，中国科协授权，中国金属科学研究院主办，中国科学院金属研究所承办。 ，由科学出版社出版。世界领先的金属材料科学家Lee Xsun教授担任该刊首任主编。现任主编为中国科学院院士叶恒强教授。

冶金学报主要发表冶金、材料科学与工程领域的原创研究论文和特邀评论论文。是我国历史悠久、学术影响力高的核心期刊。
